Job 38:4-7 (NASB)
4"Where were you when I laid the earth's foundation?
Tell me, if you understand.
5Who marked off its dimensions? Surely you know!
Who stretched a measuring line across it?
6
On what were its footings set,
or who laid its cornerstone-
7while the morning stars sang together
and all the angels shouted for joy?
I love how God is so smart! One wonders why we don't take His Word on things. Job had that problem to a degree (don't we all) thanks to his friends who tried to talk him into doubting God. In the 38th Chapter of Job, God proceeds to ask Job, where were you when I created all this? Who are you to question me? It's a lesson for all of us. God is AWESOME, and mighty, and He really does know everything you know!
Man with all of his knowledge is still catching up to what God has already told us. Look at Job 38:7.
"while the morning stars sang together..." Do stars really sing? Apparently our Sun does! According to an article at Space.com, (
read it here) scientists have discovered, "that explosive events at the Sun’s surface appear to trigger acoustic waves that bounce back and forth between both ends of the loops, a phenomenon known as a standing wave." Robertus von Fay-Siebenburgen of the Solar Physics and Space Plasma Research Center at the University of Sheffield goes on to say that the result is
exactly the same waves you see from plucking a guitar string!
Psalm 148:3 (NASB)
3"Praise Him, sun and moon;
Praise Him, all stars of light!
Read
Psalm 148. A Psalm of praise to our Lord and our creator! Notice verse 3,
...Praise Him, all stars of light! The stars are singing His praise! Of course He is worthy of it all!!! Even science is figuring it out. God knows it all! Be steadfast in your faith in Him! You will never regret it, and it will pay great dividends... in this life and the one to come!
