It's really simple. God made it easy for you to accept Him! Jesus did it all. All you have to do is receive the free gift. All you have to do is believe!

Romans 10:9 and 10 says this:
⁹ that if you confess with your mouth Jesus as Lord, and believe in your heart that God raised Him from the dead, you will be saved;
¹⁰for with the heart a person believes, resulting in righteousness, and with the mouth he confesses, resulting in salvation.

Often in a church service, or through a blurb like this on a web site, they will ask you to repeat a prayer. That's fine, even great! Technically though, all you have to do is believe that Jesus died for your sins and on the third day was raised again! If you believe it, and confess it, you are now a Child of God!

So now what? God has placed His Spirit inside of you. It is there to lead you into all truth, as a counselor, and many other wonderful things. Now it's time to get a Bible and start reading it. God's Word is true and the bread of life that you should dine on regularly. I recommend every day :-)

God has given all of his kids spiritual gifts. He has given you gifts and a calling as well! One of those gifts is teacher/pastor. Teachers and pastors explain God's Word. It's important that you find a church that believes the Bible and teaches it. Great teaching along with your faithful reading of God's Word will bear much fruit in your life as God's Holy Spirit gives you the power to live it.

You can watch sermons live and there are many many free teachings available to download. I recommend that you attend a church in person, but if you can't for some reason, Pastor Sheriff is an awesome teacher!

Finally, but equally important is pray. Praying is one of the major ways we spend time in God presence. Jesus often went off by Himself to spend time with His Father in prayer. It's very important. Through prayer, we can bring our concerns right to God's throne! Also while you pray, spend time listening. God is a God who speaks! Through His Word and through His Spirit

The Bible says that when a person accepts Christ there is rejoicing in the presence of Angels. God is happy about the choice you made!!! So are your brothers and sisters in Christ. Welcome to the forever family!
